Allsee Innovation Centre Grand Opening: A Landmark Moment for the Digital Signage Industry
This past weekend marked a truly unforgettable milestone for Allsee Technologies as we officially opened the doors to our new Innovation Centre in Longbridge, Birmingham. This is now one of the largest digital signage hubs in Europe and a defining moment not just for Allsee, but for the wider digital signage and commercial AV industry.
It was incredible to welcome so many attendees, including our staff and their families, valued suppliers, long-standing digital signage partners, research collaborators, and academic institutions we work with on innovation projects. The sense of community throughout the day was incredible and it truly was a celebration of everything we’ve built together.
We were honoured to be joined by distinguished guests including Simon Topman MBE, Deputy Lieutenant of the West Midlands, representing His Majesty The King, and Laurence Turner MP for Birmingham Northfield, who officially opened the facility alongside our Founder & Managing Director, Dr Baoli Zhao.
Reflecting on the day, Dr Baoli Zhao commented:
“This Innovation Centre represents an exciting step forward for Allsee Technologies, and for the digital signage industry as a whole. At a time of economic uncertainty, we remain committed to being a stable, reliable, and forward-thinking manufacturing partner for our partners worldwide. This investment reflects our long-term vision for innovation, growth, and collaboration.”
A key highlight of the day was the introduction of our Partner Insight Sessions, which brought together partners, collaborators, and industry peers for open discussion, knowledge sharing, and exploration of future opportunities. The interactions throughout the event carried a strong sense of collaboration and mutual support, reflecting the culture we have always nurtured at Allsee.
A Centre Built for the Future
Our Innovation Centre is a strategic investment into the future of our business, the digital signage industry, and our local community. Located in historically significant Longbridge, this development continues the regeneration of the area into a growing hub for innovation, technology, and employment. With a £20m investment, we’re proud to play an active role in the next chapter of Longbridge.
Leading Innovation and Collaboration
At a time when many businesses are facing rising costs, market uncertainty, and increased competition, Allsee continues to invest, grow, and lead. While other brands exit the market or scale back, we remain committed to long-term innovation, product development, and reliability; ensuring that our partners have a supply chain they can trust.
The Innovation Centre has been designed to strengthen partnerships at every level. With dedicated meeting spaces, event hosting areas, and training facilities, the building provides a platform for collaboration, learning, and shared growth. Whether it’s sales training, technical workshops, or partner conferences, this space has been created to bring people together.
A New Experience Centre Showroom
Innovation has always been at the core of Allsee. Our expanded R&D capabilities ensure we continue to stay ahead of market demand, investing in the next generation of digital signage.
One of the standout features of the new building is our fully redesigned Experience Centre. Officially unveiled during the opening, it showcases our product range in real-world environments across retail, hospitality, quick service restaurants, entertainment, and more. It also highlights our Bespoke Solutions and large-scale DV-LED installations, giving partners a hands-on experience of how our technology performs.
Unrivalled Stock Holding Capacity
With 80,000 sq ft of space and capacity for nearly 5,000 pallets, our new facility significantly enhances our logistics capability. This scale is essential for supporting large projects, fast turnarounds, and time-critical deployments across the globe.
A Shared Achievement
Above all, this milestone belongs to our people. The dedication, effort, and passion of the Allsee team have brought this vision to life. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all vendors, collaborators, and partners who supported the build, the event, and our journey to this point.
The Grand Opening was all about recognising how far we’ve come, and more importantly, where we are going next. We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved, and even more excited for what lies ahead.
Welcome to the Allsee Innovation Centre.
