Allsee Achieves Cyber Essentials Certification – A Major Milestone in Our Digital Signage Growth
We’re proud to announce that Allsee is now officially Cyber Essentials certified – an achievement that has been more than two years in the making.
This milestone represents another important step in strengthening our security, reliability, and commitment to excellence across the digital signage sector.
Why This Matters
Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed certification scheme that verifies an organisation has fundamental technical controls in place to protect against common cyber threats. It covers critical areas such as firewall configuration, secure system setup, access control, malware protection, and patch management.
As digital signage networks become more integrated within wider IT infrastructures, cybersecurity is no longer optional, it is expected. In recent years, Cyber Essentials has increasingly appeared as a mandatory requirement in public sector and enterprise-level tenders.
Cyber Essentials is achievable for organisations of any size, but many mid-sized businesses have not yet formalised the required controls and supporting evidence. In that context, certification can be a genuine differentiator within our sector.
While our solutions and service standards have consistently met the expectations of larger projects, the absence of formal certification occasionally presented a procurement barrier. Now, that barrier has been removed. We can now confidently and efficiently meet compliance requirements, compete more effectively for major projects, and engage in larger, more security-conscious opportunities without resistance.
Certification Process
Achieving certification was not a simple configuration change or policy update. While we already operated with strong security practices in place, the certification required us to formally align, document and independently validate those controls against the Cyber Essentials standard.
This required standardising and strengthening security across our entire IT systems, including company devices, operating systems, routers, servers, etc, and ensuring each element could be consistently evidenced.
We further enhanced processes such as asset management, multi-factor authentication enforcement, privileged access controls, and structured patch management to ensure full compliance and ongoing consistency. This process was about formalising, strengthening and externally verifying the high standards we already uphold. The result is a more structured cybersecurity framework, supported by clear policies, robust technical controls, and continuous monitoring across the organisation.
What This Means for Our Partners
For our partners and resellers, this certification brings a clear competitive advantage. When working with a Cyber Essentials certified manufacturer, you can:
- Confidently bid for larger and security-sensitive projects
- Meet public sector compliance requirements
- Strengthen your own proposals with a certified supply chain
- Reduce procurement friction and accelerate project approvals
In an increasingly security-conscious market, having certified partners matters. This milestone allows our resellers to stand out from competitors and position themselves more strongly in high-value tenders.
A Reflection of Our Growth
As Allsee continues to grow across the UK and international markets, we recognise that innovation alone is not enough. Industry leadership also requires robust governance, security, and compliance standards.
This certification demonstrates that we are investing not just in cutting-edge display technology, but in building a stronger, more resilient business behind it.
